What's Up, (or way out there!), With SO Rogue?

We've been busy checking out, and photographing, places to visit!
With Autumn knocking at the door with its crisp, cool mornings, and warm, cozy afternoons, it's time to consider where to find great fall colors and take our first eduventure on the road.

We took a little day trip up to Four Mile Lake recently and stopped off at a couple of other locations between there and the Rogue Valley that showed the promise of some emerging color. It may be a bit early in the season, but our mission was to check out locations beginning to hint at those fiery hues of the coming season. Of course, I'm particularly partial to dynamic black-and-white photos, à la Ansel Adams, showcased in the image above. We were delighted to witness and capture Mount McLoughlin as it emerged from the mid-morning mist and smoke that ebbed and flowed at its base and hung across the lake. It was a gorgeous morning, which we look forward to sharing in your company soon!
Speaking of Sharing
We are seeking the company of adventurous souls to accompany us on our forest, valley,
mountain, and waterfall forays this fall. If you, or someone you know, would like to venture forth to enjoy the beauty of Southern Oregon and Northern California while learning tidbits and techniques for improving your photographic skills, regardless of the simplicity or complexity of your existing equipment, Garry and I would love to introduce you to SO Rogue Eduventures this fall.
We hope to have our first tour sometime in October of this year. It depends on getting at least two people and no more than twelve registered to accompany us. Please note: this adult activity lasts several hours and requires easy walking to slightly moderate hiking. We love children but emphasize that it may not be suited to their interests, requirements, or needs.
Most Importantly, We Want You To Know...
We created this opportunity to share what we know and love passionately, with others who are as excited as we are to have the privilege and pleasure of living in this haven of natural beauty. Simply Email us at sorogue.edu@gmail.com letting us know you are interested in knowing more about how our Southern Oregon Rogue Educational Adventure tours work, what the cost is, and what to expect.
