Come To Our Meet and Greet on September 9th!

We are excited to announce our first public meeting and official roll-out of Southern Oregon Eduventures! This get-together is an opportunity for Garry and I to explain just what "SO Rogue", as we call this program, is all about, who it's for and what people who participate can expect from it.

Some of you may be wondering what the term "eduventure" means and where it came from. In our searching for what to call this program we couldn't really find anything that would adequately describe what we are offering. As a writer I'm fascinated by words and their meaning, so I decided to do a little linguistic mashup.

What SO Rogue offers it's participants is a curated series of fun and informative guided photography day trips and tours that brings together an outdoor exploration of the natural beauty of our region with the added benefit of information on the flora, fauna and geology that abounds here. Combine this with a photographic educational opportunity and you get what we are calling an eduventure!

We would love to have you join us on Saturday, September 9th at 10:30 AM so we can go into much more detail about the benefits and what to expect when you join us on our eduventures. To do so we ask that you email us at sorogue.edu@gmail.com and let us know that you wish to attend this informational and introductory meeting. We will reply with additional information and instructions for attending.

Seats are limited for both this event and our SO Rogue Eduventures, so please let us know of your interest so we can help you secure your spot with us as we venture forth to capture the scenery and wildlife of the region.
